This exceptional football player is, of course, Mike Alstott, who has been named as the honorary chair for the 2008 St Petersburg Bowl. This year’s St. Petersburg Bowl would be shown on national TV on December 20 at around 4:30 in the afternoon. The game would be telecast from the Tropicana Field. The Senior VP and General Manager of ESPN Regional Television or ERT said that the St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay zones are already known for sports, and he also said that the group is proud to be represented by this renowned athlete. St. Petersburg Bowl is run and owned by the ESPN Regional Television, which actually owns five other bowls, which include Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl and the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl.
